| KET’s TeleFund 2008 offers concert tickets |

KET viewers who pledge their support during TeleFund 2008 can obtain, as a thank-you gift, tickets to the Louisville Palace to see Celtic Woman on April 2, Johnny Mathis on May 11 or the High Kings (date to be announced). Concert specials by these performers air during TeleFund 2008, which takes place March 1 through 16. Two Celtic Woman specials air during this year’s TeleFund: Celtic Woman and Celtic Woman –– A New Journey. First, the five Irish stars bring the audience to their feet in an energetic performance recorded live at Dublin’s Helix Centre. Celtic Woman airs Saturday, March 1 at 6/5 p.m. CT and Monday, March 3 at 8/7 p.m. CT on KET1 and Wednesday, March 12 at 9:30/8:30 p.m. CT on KET2. Then, the Celtic Woman members are joined by New Zealand-born singer Hayley Westenra at historic Slane Castle for a blend of classics, contemporary hits and original material. Celtic Woman –– A New Journey airs Sunday, March 9 at 8/7 p.m. CT on KET1. Mathis fans can enjoy his performance in Atlantic City on Johnny Mathis –– Wonderful, Wonderful!, airing Sunday, March 2 at 9:30/8:30 p.m. CT on KET2 and Saturday, March 8 at 8/7 p.m. CT on KET1. Mathis celebrates his 50th anniversary in show business in this hit-filled concert. TeleFund 2008 also introduces the High Kings, four renowned vocalists and musicians who have joined forces to create an exciting Irish ballad group. The High Kings re-energize the great Irish ballads and introduce exciting new songs. Irish dancer Mick Donegan, formerly of Riverdance, joins the act with a modern-day “dance off.” The High Kings airs Saturday, March 1 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2 and Wednesday, March 5 at 9:30/8:30 p.m. CT on KET1. Other musical specials airing during TeleFund 2008 include Great Performances “James Taylor: One-Man Band,” My Music: Doo Wop Love Songs, The Everly Brothers Reunion Concert, John Denver: A Song’s Best Friend, The Gospel Music of Johnny Cash and Hollywood Singing and Dancing: A Musical Treasure.
