Spring is on the way, and Kentuckians anxious to return to their favorite fishing spots can get ready with the Kentucky Afield Spring Fishing Call-In 2008.

The call-in, airing live Saturday, March 22 at 8/7 p.m. CT on KET1, gives viewers the opportunity to ask questions about fishing locations, baits and lures. A taped version of the program airs Sunday, March 23 at 4/3 p.m. CT on KET1.

In April, the Kentucky Afield Turkey Hunting Call-In provides useful information about regulations, places to hunt, calls to use and safety reminders. The program airs live Saturday, April 5 at 8:30/7:30 p.m. CT on KET1. The taped version airs Sunday, April 6 at 4/3 p.m. CT on KET1.

Both programs feature host Tim Farmer and a panel of experts from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources answering viewers’ questions and providing valuable information and advice for every stage of hunting and fishing.

Kentucky Afield Spring Fishing Call-In 2008 and Kentucky Afield Turkey Hunting Call-In 2008 are co-productions of KET and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. Carl Babcock is producer and director.
