Catch the spirit at the 20th annual KET Summer Celebration on Friday, June 6 from 7 p.m. to midnight at Donamire Farm in Lexington. Proceeds from “Blitz and Bling” support the winning programs and services of KET.
MVP hosts for Summer Celebration 2008 are Don and Mira Ball. Honorary captains are University of Kentucky football coach Rich Brooks and his wife, Karen. The all-star lineup includes a super-sized silent auction, end zone dance moves to the Jimmy Church Band and a beefed-up buffet that tackles every taste.
Gridiron gear in the silent auction includes UK basketball lower arena season tickets, the game football from UK’s victory over LSU, tickets to the Ryder Cup at Valhalla Golf Club, tickets to a live taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show in Chicago, a baby grand piano, a grandfather clock, vacations, furnishings, fine art, sports packages and much more.

To date, previous Summer Celebrations have raised a total of $2.3 million to advance the mission of KET.”
