Kentucky Tonight will discuss energy and the environment and the U.S. presidential election

On the Monday, August 18 edition of Kentucky Tonight at 8/7 p.m. CT on KET1, host Bill Goodman and guests will discuss energy and the environment and the U.S. presidential election.

Scheduled guests are:

- State Sen. Brandon Smith, R-Hazard, co-chair of the General Assembly's 2008 Special Subcommittee on Energy

- State Rep. Robin Webb, D-Grayson, first vice chair of the House Appropriations and Revenue Committee and co-chair of the General Assembly's 2008 Land Stewardship and Conservation Task Force

- William Daugherty, president and chief executive officer of NGAS Resources

- Hank Graddy, a Midway lawyer and member of the Kentucky chapter of the Sierra Club

Kentucky Tonight will not take live phone calls on August 18 because of construction underway as part of KET's conversion to digital television. Viewers with questions and comments may send e-mail to kytonight@ket.org.
