Heather French Henry talks about her new line of pageant attire, the Kentucky Humane Society celebrates 125 years and Rodney Hatfield describes his life as an artist and musician on the next Louisville Life. The program, hosted by Candyce Clifft, airs Thursday, Feb. 5 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2; Saturday, Feb. 7 at 7/ 6 p.m. CT on KET1; and Sunday, Feb. 8 at noon/11 a.m. CT on KET2.Henry -- a wife, mother, foundation director, author and former Miss America -- is adding another title to her resume: fashion designer. Louisville Life visits Henry at her Bardstown Road studio for a glimpse of her new line of pageant wear. Henry also talks about her dedication to veterans issues.
Next, Louisville Life enjoys the fare at Lotsa Pasta, a one-of-a-kind local food shop and café. Owners John and Vicki Hale opened Lotsa Pasta in Louisville more than 25 years ago, specializing in Italian delicacies and other hard-to-find international items.
Then, the program spotlights the Kentucky Humane Society as the organization celebrates its 125th year. Viewers learn how the society cares for the Commonwealth's homeless animals and find out what innovations are in the works to continue the organization's legacy.
And, Bernardo J. Carducci, director of the Shyness Research Institute at Indiana University Southeast, gives advice to the Commonwealth's bashful citizens.
Finally, Pike County native Hatfield, also known as "Art Snake," talks about his successful art career, shares some of his unique paintings and reveals his experiences as a musician in several Kentucky bands, including the Hatfield Clan, the Metropolitan Blues All-Stars and Tin Can Buddha.
