Bill speaks with Doug Whitlock, president of Eastern Kentucky University, on the next One to One with Bill Goodman, airing Sunday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m./noon CT on KET1 and Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2.

Whitlock, a Madison County native, is a two-time graduate of EKU, holding a bachelor's degree in history and social science and a master's degree in history. He discusses his goals for the university, state budget cuts for higher education and other topics. He also talks about his own background, including his 38-year career at EKU as a teacher and administrator, and his recent trip to Japan.
