KET's new online educational service, FastForward, provides on-demand access to video on GED® and pre-GED preparation; KET's Workplace Essential Skills series, which helps job seekers find and retain employment and TV411, which covers important life skills. The service, free to Kentucky residents, is available at www.fastforwardky.com.GED Connection helps people prepare for all five subjects on the GED exam, with special attention to the calculator used on the exam, the essay, special answer formats and tips for test day. Teachers and experts in each field not only cover the skills needed for the tests, but also explain how the skills required for the GED exam are important in everyday life and work.
The Pre-GED series cover s the reading, writing, math, science and social studies skills needed for GED test preparation.
Workplace Essential Skills helps individuals find jobs and succeed at the workplace. Experts who use communication, reading, writing and math in their work every day talk about life on the job.
TV411 covers practical reading, writing and math skills in lessons on parenting, money matters and health. Actors, writers, sports figures and everyday people provide insight on making one's life easier and more successful.
