One the next One to One with Bill Goodman, Bill Mills, president of the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP), discusses the organization, problems in Eastern Kentucky, and the recent 20/20 documentary "A Hidden America: Children of the Mountains," about children living in poverty in Appalachia. Mills discusses CAP, a 45-year-old charity organization designed to provide assistance to children, elderly and disabled adults in the Appalachian region. He talks about how CAP is funded; the organization's services, including after-school programs, home repair, summer camps and classes for parents; and how individuals can help CAP.
Mills also talks about CAP's involvement in the creation of the ABC documentary and reveals his own feelings about the controversial program. He discusses significant problems in the region, Appalachian stereotypes and more.
