On the next edition of Connections with Renee Shaw, some of Kentucky's African-American state lawmakers review the recent legislative session, including legislation pertinent to minority communities. The program airs Friday, April 17 at 4/3 p.m. CT on KET2 and Sunday, April 19 at 1:30/12:30 p.m. CT on KET1. Guests include Sen. Gerald Neal, D-Louisville; Rep . Arnold Simpson, D-Covington; Rep. Derrick Graham, D-Frankfort; and Rep. Jim Glenn, D-Owensboro.The guests also discuss speculation about a special session, minority representation in the General Assembly, recruiting minorities into the political arena and more.
