The next One to One with Bill Goodman welcomes Ted Bassett, one of the most respected figures within the global Thoroughbred industry, and Bill Mooney, co-author of Keeneland's Ted Bassett: My Life. The program airs Sunday, May 3 at 1 p.m./noon CT on KET1 and Tuesday, May 5 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2.
Bassett has served as Keeneland's president and chairman of the board, playing a critical role in the organization's ascendancy as a premier Thoroughbred track and auction house. He was also president of Breeders' Cup Limited during its greatest period of growth.
On the program, Bassett and Mooney discuss their book, which follows Bassett through Yale, the Marine Corps, the Kentucky State Police and through his storied career in the Thoroughbred industry.
