Peanuts and popcorn. Acrobats and clown antics. Tusks and tigers. Strike up the band because the "circus" is coming to town!KET's 21st annual Summer Celebration takes place Friday, June 5 from 7 p.m. to midnight at Donamire Farm in Lexington. Proceeds from "KET: The Greatest Shows On Earth" support the programs and services of KET that thrill, amaze and delight. Pearse Lyons, president and founder of Alltech, and his wife, Deirdre, are honorary ringmasters, and Don and Mira Ball are the high-flying hosts.
At this year's circus-themed event, there will be a show-stopping silent auction with more than 300 souvenirs, a bountiful buffet and daring dance moves with The Trendells in the center ring. Juggle through a gauntlet of over 350 tempting items, including UK basketball lower arena season tickets, jewelry, home furnishings, fine art, sports and vacation packages and much more.

"A record 1,000 KET supporters attended last year's event. To date, previous Summer Celebrations have raised a total of $2.5 million to advance the mission of KET."
