The world famous Kruger Brothers perform in concert at Murray State University's Lovett Auditorium in A Night of Stars, airing Wednesday, June 3 at 9/8 p.m. CT on KET1 and Wednesday, June 17 at 8/7 p.m. CT on KET2.
The brothers perform a blend of traditional and original music, including "Black Mountain Rag," "Up 18 North," "Luminous Waters" and "Behind the Barn." The group also performs their original and popular symphonic composition, Music from the Spring, with the Murray State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dennis L. Johnson.
The Kruger Brothers have been performing together worldwide since the mid-1990s, leaving their native Switzerland to move to the United States in the fall of 2003. Their music is influenced by both classical European and contemporary American styles.
