The next Louisville Life features Heather French Henry's new line of pageant attire, local store and café Lotsa Pasta, musician and artist Rodney Hatfield and more. The program, hosted by Candyce Clifft, airs Thursday, July 9 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2; Saturday, July 11 at 7/6 p.m. CT on KET1; and Sunday, July 12 at noon/11 a.m. CT on KET2.Henry, a foundation director, author and former Miss America, has added another title to her résumé: designer. Louisville Life visits Henry in her Bardstown Road studio for a glimpse of her new line of pageant wear. Henry also talks about her dedication to veterans' issues.
Next, Louisville Life enjoys the fare at Lotsa Pasta, a one-of-a-kind local. Owners John and Vicki Hale opened Lotsa Pasta in Louisville more than 25 years ago, specializing in Italian delicacies and other hard-to-find international items.
Then, the program explores some local Abraham Lincoln connections. And, Bryan Bush, author of Lincoln and the Speeds, joins Candyce in the studio to discuss Lincoln's intimate friendship with Louisvillian Joshua Speed.
Finally, Pike County native Hatfield, also known as "Art Snake," talks about his successful art career and shares some of his unique paintings. He also reveals his experiences as a musician in several Kentucky bands, including the Hatfield Clan, the Metropolitan Blues All-Stars and Tin Can Buddha.
