On the next Jubilee, vocalist Dale Ann Bradley makes her second appearance on the series. As a regular member of the Renfro Valley Barn Dance, she's performing on some familiar territory. Her performance, taped at the 2008 Renfro Valley Bluegrass Music Festival, airs Wednesday, July 15 at 8/7 p.m. CT on KET1 and Saturday, July 18 at 11/10 p.m. CT on KET2.Critics have compared Bradley's vocal style to those of Dolly Parton and Alison Krauss, while Music Row called her "a gentle mountain songbird with a shimmering delivery, marvelous purity of tone, soprano trills and lonesome bent notes."
A Primitive Baptist preacher's daughter and Kentucky native, Bradley was named the 2007 and 2008 Female Vocalist of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association. Her newly released album, Don't Turn Your Back, is already receiving praise from critics and gaining popularity on Country Music Television.
