The next Louisville Life meets an artist whose exhibit is featured at the Muhammad Ali Center, profiles a prominent civil rights fixture in Louisville, visits the city's top cheerleading and dance training center and more. The program, hosted by Candyce Clifft, airs Thursday, July 23 at 7:30/ 6:30 p.m. CT on KET2; Saturday, July 25 at 7/6 p.m. CT on KET1; and Sunday, July 26 at noon /11 a.m. CT on KET2.
First, Louisville Life meets artist Pat Gallagher, the Ali Center's first artist in residence. Gallagher's exhibit, The Ten Most Inspirational Women in Louisville, showcases a diverse group of women who have inspired him. Next, the program visits Elizabeth's Timeless Attire, a vintage clothing store owned by Elizabeth Schaaf, who shows off some of her favorite pieces. Then, Louisville Life profiles local civil rights crusader, journalist and educator Anne Braden. And, Bernardo J. Carducci, director of the Shyness Research Institute at Indiana University Southeast, gives advice to the Commonwealth's bashful citizens. Finally, Louisville Life tumbles into GymTyme, where the award-winning University of Louisville cheerleading squad gears up for competitions.
