The next edition of Louisville Life features the exciting return of Wendy Whelan to the Louisville Ballet, the Louisville Visual Art Association, a new music video from the Muckrakers and more. The program, hosted by Candyce Clifft, airs Thursday, Aug. 6 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2; Saturday, Aug. 8 at 7/6 p.m. CT on KET1; and Sunday, Aug. 9 at noon/11 a.m. CT on KET2.First, viewers meet Louisville native and New York City Ballet principal dancer Whelan as she returns to the Louisville Ballet for the world premiere of Rite of Spring. The original 1913 production created a near riot with its complex music by Igor Stravinsky and ground-breaking choreography.

Next, the program profiles the late Charles Farnsley, former Louisville mayor, U.S. Congressman and champion of the arts.
Then, Candyce talks to David Karem, executive director of the Waterfront Development Corp., who discusses the progress of Louisville's Waterfront Park.
Finally, local rockers the Muckrakers share their music video "Lights of Louisville," which features several local landmarks.
