Comedian and former Kentucky resident Sparks, of Talk Soup and VH1's I Love the ... series, tells Louisville Life about growing up in the Commonwealth, fronting a rock band and acting on the big screen. He reveals what made his family move from Louisville to Peak's Mill, Ky., and how he went from living in a home with no television to becoming a successful television personality.

Next, the program visits the Wakefield Scearce Galleries in Shelbyville's historic Science Hill. This group of century-old buildings is home to several unique shops.

Then, Louisville Life commemorates Thomas Jefferson's 266th birthday with a look at his ties to Jefferson County.

Also, Candyce interviews John E. Kleber, professor emeritus of history at Morehead State University and the editor of The Kentucky Encyclopedia and The Encyclopedia of Louisville.

Finally, Louisville Life travels to Kaviar Forge and Gallery, a combination exhibition area and functional sculpture studio. Kaviar, who moved to Kentucky in 1984, creates award-winning functional artwork that has been exhibited and commissioned throughout the U.S.
