Patricia Russell-McCloud, a featured speaker at this year's Lexington-Bluegrass Minority Business Expo, is the next guest on Connections with Renee Shaw.The program airs Friday, Aug. 28 at 4/3 p.m. CT on KET2 and Sunday, Aug. 30 at 1:30/12:30 p.m. CT on KET1. Russell-McCloud discusses her background, including her ties to Kentucky and her decades of experience as a professional speaker.
A Kentucky State University graduate, Russell-McCloud speaks to more than 200,000 people in private and public organizations each year. Her client list includes AARP, AT&T, General Motors, McDonald's and the United States Postal Service, among other national and international companies. Prior to her speaking career, Russell-McCloud was an attorney with the Federal Communications Commission.
On the program, the dynamic lecturer talks about her mastery of the spoken word; her transition from lawyer to professional speaker; President Obama's oratory style; and her book, A is for Attitude: An Alphabet for Living, among other topics.
