On the next edition of Louisville Life, two local entrepreneurs share the secret of their success in the purse industry, a charitable organization offers a tall drink of water, and much more. The program, hosted by Candyce Clifft, airs Thursday, Aug. 27 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2; Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7/6 p.m. CT on KET1; and Sunday, Aug. 30 at noon/11 a.m. CT on KET2.

Louisvillians Lisa Henderson and Sandra Masters are co-founders of B's Purses, custom-made clutches that are sold nationally through "purse parties." Henderson and Masters talk about their success, including features on The View, Rachael Ray and in Parenting Magazine.

Next, Louisville Life learns about EDGE (Ecumenical Dynamic Growth Experience) Outreach, a Christian ministry organization that provides water solutions, vision clinics and more to people in need locally and globally. Some of the organization's efforts include providing safe drinking water to people in developing countries, water purification and filtration, vision and health screenings and free eyeglasses.

Also, the program looks at the history and future of the Salvation Army, which has maintained a branch in Louisville for more than 125 years.

Then, Candyce interviews Peter Morrin, who heads the University of Louisville's Arts and Culture Partnerships Initiative, a new program designed to bring together arts, history and cultural institutions to improve community life.

Finally, Louisville Life features a Kentucky Derby Festival tradition, the Great Balloon Race.
