The next edition of Louisville Life features author Alanna Nash, a Louisvillian who got her start at the Courier-Journal; a professional wrestler and Louisville business owner; the remarkable Flaget High School Alumni Association; and more. The program, hosted by Candyce Clifft, airs Thursday, Jan. 14 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2; Saturday, Jan. 16 at 7/6 p.m. CT on KET; and Sunday, Jan. 17 at noon/11 a.m. CT on KET2.
First, Louisville Life meets Nash, a freelance writer for USA Weekend, Entertainment Weekly and The New York Times. Nash has also authored numerous books, including Golden Girl, which was the basis for Up Close and Personal, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert Redford. Her newest book, Baby, Let’s Play House, is one of a series of books she has written about Elvis Presley.

And, one of Louisville’s leading experts on healthy living is Barbara Day, nurse, nutritionist and publisher of Kentuckiana Healthy Woman magazine. She talks with Candyce about healthy choices for the new year.
Finally, although the school has been closed for 35 years, the Flaget High School Alumni Association is still going strong. Louisville Life visits with 1956 Heisman Trophy winner Paul Hornung to talk about his memories of the Catholic boys school.
