On the next edition of Louisville Life, viewers get a healthy serving from Chef Nancy, meet a woman who holds the fate of some lucky Kentuckians in her hands, celebrate the Chinese New Year with Crane House and enjoy the culinary delights at the Blue Dog Bakery & Café. The program, hosted by Candyce Clifft, airs Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2; Saturday, Feb. 13 at 7/6 p.m. CT on KET; and Sunday, Feb. 14 at noon/11 a.m. CT on KET2. First, Louisville Life meets Chef Nancy Russman, who has worked in the kitchens of four-star restaurants and received national culinary and humanitarian awards, but her passion has always been teaching children about healthy food. Russman shares a cooking session with several Next, Jo Anne Wolf is a beautiful and familiar face for Louisvillians and Kentuckians across the Commonwealth. Many recognize her from her modeling career, even more people know her as one of Kentucky Lottery’s longtime talents. Wolf talks about the excitement and anxiety of being responsible for the numbers that could make someone a millionaire. Then, just days before the Chinese New Year, Louisville Life spotlights a community association of Asian culture –– the Crane House. Viewers learn how the non-profit organization serves Finally, the program visits the Blue Dog Bakery & Café. This bakery –– equipped with a $50,000 Spanish wood-fired oven –– set a new standard for bread in Louisville. Louisville Life is a KET production, produced and directed by Gary Pahler.
