The next edition of Louisville Life meets a popular public speaker, a local chef helping people find work and the family that operates Louisville’s oldest garden center, among other topics. The program, hosted by Candyce Clifft, airs Thursday, May 13 at 7:30/6:30 pm CT on KET2; Saturday, May 15 at 7/6 pm CT on KET; and Sunday, May 16 at noon/11 am CT on KET2.

Then, viewers meet Chef Timothy Tucker and visit the Salvation Army’s Culinary Training Program, which has received national recognition. Chef Tucker teaches people the skills they need to re-enter the workforce through the kitchen. His unique program has earned him the honor of being named Manager of the Year by the Kentucky Restaurant Association.
Also, as Memorial Day approaches, Et Cetera spotlights the Louisville Memorial Auditorium. For 80 years, the auditorium has helped to entertain Louisvillians, hosting an impressive list of famous faces. The facility also houses some hidden gems, among them a rare, historic pipe organ.
Next, Candyce interviews Craig Buthod, director of the Louisville Free Public Library. The Library Journal recently awarded Buthod the 2010 Librarian of the Year Award.
Finally, Louisville Life catches up with Matt Gardiner and learns about his family owned and operated business,
