| KET invites candidates to appear on Kentucky Tonight |

Beginning in October, KET continues its longstanding tradition of providing viewers statewide with the opportunity to hear directly from candidates in political races. Candidates in November’s races have been invited to appear on Kentucky Tonight, with host Bill Goodman, in the weeks leading up to Election Day 2012.
The Kentucky Tonight programs featuring candidate discussions air Mondays, Oct. 1 – 29 at 8/7 p.m. CT on KET. The programs will also stream live and be archived online at ket.org. The invited candidates and schedules are:
October 1: This program is divided into two parts. Topic: 2nd Congressional District Craig R. Astor, Libertarian Party S. Brett Guthrie, Republican Party David Lynn Williams, Democratic Party Topic: 5th Congressional District Harold “Hal” Rogers, Republican Party Kenneth S. Stepp, Democratic Party October 8: 1st Congressional District Charles Kendall Hatchett, Democratic Party Edward Whitfield, Republican Party October 15: 3rd Congressional District Robert L. DeVore Jr., independent Brooks Wicker, Republican Party John A. Yarmuth, Democratic Party October 22: 4th Congressional District William R. "Bill" Adkins, Democratic Party Thomas Massie, Republican Party October 29: 6th Congressional District Andy Barr, Republican Party Ben Chandler, Democratic Party An integral part of the Kentucky Tonight series, viewer participation is welcomed and encouraged.
