The next Health Three60 program reveals how Kentucky counties stack up in the race toward health in “Healthy Competition: How County Health Rankings Are Catalyzing Change.” Host Renee Shaw and guests explore three regions of the state and discuss how innovative strategies, relentless analysis of data, and a little competitive spirit can bring about improved health outcomes. The show airs Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 9/8 p.m. on KET.

In this show, viewers will learn how a local health coalition is driving change in Grant County, which moved from 89th to 60th in the county health rankings in just three years; how a grassroots drive that led to a smoking ban is improving health in Hardin County and the surrounding communities; and how promoting trails in Rockcastle County is encouraging healthy lifestyles and economic development.

Guests for the show will include:

--Dr. Connie Gayle White, MD, MS, FACOG, deputy commissioner for clinical affairs, Kentucky Department for Public Health

--Dr. Lynne M. Saddler, MD, MPH, public health director, Northern Kentucky Independent District Health Department

--Linda Sims, MSN, FACHE, public health director, Lincoln Trail District Health Department

--Lynnett Renner MS, RD, LD, public health director, Cumberland Valley District Health Department
