For “Sizzle & Salsa,” University of Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops and his wife, Chantel, are serving as honorary chairs. Don and Mira Ball of Lexington are hosting the event, which is Friday, June 6, from 7 p.m. to midnight at Donamire Farm. Club KET is spicing things up with a bongo beat, Caribé café, music by the Jimmy Church Band and optional salsa dance lessons. In partnership with Arthur Murray, special guest Lacey Schwimmer, a professional ballroom dancer best known for her appearances on So You Think You Can Dance? (2007-2008) and Dancing with the Stars (2008-2011), will demonstrate her mirror ball moves.
