This year, viewers can expect an exciting blend of programs celebrating legends of music, performing arts and so much more. TeleFund is an opportunity for viewers to support KET’s mission to provide quality, trusted programs that educate, inspire and entertain.
Those who donate during TeleFund will have the chance to receive tickets to a wide range of concerts and experiences, including Celtic Woman, Brit Floyd, Joe Bonamassa, and the 2014 Kentucky Collectibles appraisal fair, plus other exclusive thank-you gifts and benefits.
“KET serves all Kentuckians with rich and diverse educational programming and services,” said Shae Hopkins, KET executive director and CEO. “Our more than 36,000 members that support KET help make this possible. TeleFund is KET’s largest single source of funds for the purchase and support of programming that so many Kentuckians enjoy, value and expect.”

Donations allow KET to continue to deliver programming that provides insights, discoveries, culture, excitement and entertainment to communities throughout Kentucky — as well as provide a safe haven for the Commonwealth’s youngest citizens through award-winning PBS children’s programming.
Music programs abound during this year’s TeleFund. In the all-new Celtic Woman: Emerald, Ireland and Celtic heritage are celebrated with traditional Irish anthems, pop standards and original music. The program airs Saturday, March 1 at 8/7 p.m. and Monday, March 3 at 8/7 p.m. on KET and Wednesday, March 5 at 8/7 p.m. on KET2.
The Best of the 60s showcases rock, folk and pop performances from the decade that transformed America, including The New Rascals, Scott McKenzie’s final television performance, The Fifth Dimension, and more. The program airs Saturday, March 1 at 10/9 p.m. on KET2.
Also during TeleFund, Pink Floyd fans can enjoy internationally known tribute band Brit Floyd. Brit Floyd - Live at Red Rocks, set against the natural rocks and Colorado landscape, airs Friday, March 7 at 11/10 p.m. on KET2 and Sunday, March 9 at midnight/11 p.m. on KET. Under the Streetlamp is an electrifying concert of classic hits from the cast of the Tony-Award winning musical Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. This program airs Tuesday, March 4 at 9:30/8:30 p.m. on KET and Saturday, March 15 at 8/7 p.m. on KET2.
For more than half a century, the immensely popular melodies of celebrated composer Burt Bacharach have touched millions of music lovers all over the world. On Burt Bacharach’s Best, Dionne Warwick, Tom Jones and more perform Bacharach songs in clips from the 1960s and 70s, including hits such as “I Say A Little Prayer,” “What’s New Pussycat?” “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head,” and so many more. Burt Bacharach’s Best airs Saturday, March 1 at 10/9 p.m. and Monday, March 10 at 8/7 p.m. on KET and Friday, March 7 at 9:30/8:30 p.m. on KET2.
On the new Suze Orman's Financial Solutions for You, the central theme of Orman’s advice is that financial decision-making should be guided by an understanding of “the goal of money.” This program airs Saturday, March 1 at 10/9 a.m. and Monday, March 3 at 9/8 p.m. on KET2 and Sunday, March 2 at 3/2 p.m. and Tuesday, March 11 at 8/7 p.m. on KET.
On Use Your Brain to Change Your Age with Dr. Daniel Amen Dr. Amen shares simple steps to boost the brain that may help individuals live longer, look younger and dramatically decrease the risk for Alzheimer's disease. The program airs Sunday, March 2 at 10/9 p.m. and Sunday, March 9 at 8/7 p.m. on KET2 and Wednesday, March 5 at 8/7 p.m. on KET.
Easy Yoga: The Secret to Strength and Balance with Peggy Cappy demonstrates how yoga can benefit people of any age who want to increase strength and mobility. The program premieres Saturday, March 1 at 3/2 p.m. and Thursday, March 6 at 7/6 p.m. on KET2 and Monday, March 3 at 10/9 p.m. on KET.
In Doc Martin: Revealed, viewers can go behind the scenes with footage from the newest Doc Martin season shot in Port Isaac in England. The program airs Sunday, March 2 at 3/2 p.m. on KET2.
