For Release: 2013-02-25 09:02:00The next Louisville Life, hosted by Candyce Clifft, visits contemporary glass artist Casey Hyland, eats at Decca restaurant, interviews the executive director of The Clifton Center, and spends time with the dog who serves as the inspiration behind Little Eatz gourmet goodies. The program premieres Saturday, March 23 at 7/6 p.m. on KET and Thursday, March. 28 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. on KET2. Louisville Life pays a visit to contemporary hand-blown glass artist Casey Hyland, who established Hyland Glass more than ten years ago. The studio now houses a glass hot-shop studio, a retail gallery, classes and workshops. Next, the program heads to Decca, which brings the talent of San Francisco chef Annie Pettry to East Market Streetís NuLu neighborhood. Louisville Life visits with Pettry and owner Chad Sheffield to discuss the restaurant, which also features local artists and musicians, alongside ďlocally farmed and small production ingredients.Ē Louisville Life also gets to know a pug named Winston, who is the inspiration behind Little Eatz gourmet goodies. Owners Melissa and Sean Little develop healthy snacks, which are manufactured locally, with ingredients safe for both dogs and people. In the studio, Clifft talks with John Harris, executive director of The Clifton Center, an historic facility that serves as a gathering place for art, culture and ideas. Housed in a renovated former school building, the center is home to the intimate 500-seat Eifler Theatre and studios of many Louisville visual artists.
