For Release: 2014-03-04 13:28:00This month, Reel Visions: Spotlight on Kentucky Filmmakers once again puts Kentuckiansí filmmaking talents on display. Each half-hour program features several short films produced, directed, written or edited by Kentucky filmmakers, and season eight includes two new episodes and six films. In the first episode of the season, three films are featured. Charged by Nathaniel Winckler is a short animation featuring a distressed bee trying to save a friend. Max Mooreís short Red Box illustrates that maybe love is more than just watching movies. Bongo by Evan Sennett is a silent love story between two unlikely people. This episode concludes with Candace by Candace Wade about a girl lost in thoughts of silent film star Wallace Reid. The program airs Friday, March 28 at 10:30/9:30 p.m. on KET2 and Thursday, March 27 at midnight/11 p.m. on KET. In the seasonís second episode, two films are featured. Max Moore's Check Out Line is the story of procrastination and infatuation, and Writing the Big One by Evan Sennett is a classic detective story in modern times.
