Inspired by tradition and fueled by their youthful innovation, Mountain Heart has established its seat at the forefront of contemporary bluegrass music. Now, fresh from the release of their second album, The Journey, Mountain Heart reclaims the Jubilee stage.

The group came together in 1999 and was named Emerging Artist of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association even before they released their first album. Fans attribute such quick success to the members' individual musical accomplishments along with their ability to fuse their talents into an exciting bluegrass-gospel blend. Industry experts' appreciation of the group's rich sound is attested by the fact that their recent all-gospel album The Journey was recorded in collaboration with bluegrass master Ricky Skaggs on his Ceili Music label.

Mountain Heart, celebrating the return of original member and mandolin virtuoso Adam Steffey, delivers its trademark blend of Appalachian traditional sounds and pioneering musical artistry. Their Jubilee performance was recorded at the 2001 Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Morehead, Ky.

Jubilee is a KET production, produced and directed by H. Russell Farmer. The show is closed-captioned for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
