Sparky Rucker and Dan Crary bring their individual styles to the Jubilee stage

For Release: May 20, 2002

Jubilee features Sparky Rucker and Dan Crary. Rucker is known in music circles as a traditionalist. This folk performer has re-invigorated popular songs of the Civil War during his career, as well as authored many tunes of his own. Dan Crary is known in music circles as "Mr. Guitar." Famous for his flat-picking style, Crary has been a performing artist for more than 30 years. Both he and Rucker were taped at their appearance at the 1999 Master Musicians Festival in Somerset, Ky.

Jubilee is a KET production, produced by H. Russell Farmer. Nancy Carpenter is executive producer. The program is closed-captioned for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. Viewers can find out more about programming on KET's six digital channels by visiting the KET Web site at www.ket.org.
