One to One with Bill Goodman:
Rieva Lesonsky
aired March 23 and 25, 2007
On this edition of One to One, host Bill Goodman talks with Rieva Lesonsky, the senior vice president and editorial director of Entrepreneur Media Inc., about starting and operating a business in today’s financial climate.
The two also talk about Lesonsky’s own path to the editorship of Entrepreneur magazine; how she remade the publication, nearly doubling its circulation in the process; and her responsibility for Entrepreneur.com, the largest web site for entrepreneurial information at some 100,000 pages.
Lesonsky began her tenure with Entrepreneur magazine in 1978 as a research assistant. After being laid off, she was rehired in 1983 as head of research and then began climbing the ranks to editor-in-chief. A native New Yorker, she is also the author of Get Smart and the co-author of several other books, including Start Your Own Business, Young Millionaires, and 303 Marketing Tips.
