One to One with Bill Goodman:
Albert Mohler
premiered January 27, 2008
Dr. R. Albert Mohler, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, outlines his conception of a Christian worldview on this edition of One to One with host Bill Goodman.
Mohler, who also has been nominated for the presidency of the Southern Baptist Convention, was dubbed “the reigning intellectual of the evangelical movement in the U.S.” by the online version of Time magazine. A popular lecturer and a frequent guest on radio and television news programs, he hosts a daily live program on the Salem Radio Network and writes a blog on the religious and spiritual dimensions of news events at his web site, AlbertMohler.com.
In his conversation with Goodman, Mohler discusses his book Culture Shift: Engaging Current Issues with Timeless Truth, which offers a Christian response to topics from popular entertainment to biomedicine to terrorism. He also talks about his own background as a minister and educator and about the mission of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. One of the world’s largest seminaries, it is the flagship school of the Southern Baptist Convention, offering undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees with concentrations in theology, ministry and church leadership, evangelism, and church music and worship.
