Kentucky Winners for the 15th Annual Young Writers and Illustrators Contest
First Place Winners Will Compete in National Contest
Congratulations to all of you! We enjoyed your stories and drawings very much. Keep up the good work.
Our first-place winners receive a KET backpack and go on to compete in the national contest, where the prizes include TVs, digital cameras, and MP3 players. Judging for the national competition takes place during May and June. Check the Reading Rainbow Web site in July for the 12 national winning stories. And in August the Reading Rainbow Web site will post 100 other stories written by kids like you.
Every Kentucky child who participated in our state contest will receive a certificate from KET signed by the host of Reading Rainbow, LeVar Burton.
