Arctic Dance: The Mardy Murie Story

From her first glimpse of Alaska as a young girl, Mardy Murie had a special connection to the Northland. After a Yukon wedding, she joined her husband, naturalist Olaus Murie, for years of wilderness adventure and a lifetime of conservation efforts. Her work led to the founding of the Wilderness Society and the establishment of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, and she recently received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
