Contemporary violinist and composer Mark O'Connor performs his work The American Seasons for Fiddle and String Orchestra with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra under Music Director JoAnn Falletta. O'Connor's piece is paired with its classical inspiration, Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, performed by the orchestra with acclaimed American violinist Catherine Cho. The performance was recorded at Buffalo's historic Kleinhans Music Hall on December 1,2000.
