Profiles Colors United, a performing arts group for inner-city kids founded by Phil Simms at Jordan High School in Watts in 1990 to help teenagers from South Central Los Angeles stay off the violent streets and find a better life. On this safe stage, Latino and African-American kids put down their guns and pick up Shakespeare, finding a second family to provide support and encouragement.
