Fei Hu: The Story of the Flying Tigers

In the darkest days of World War II, when the American people were reeling from defeat after defeat following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, a flame of hope flickered on a distant horizon. Deep in the jungles of Burma and the mountains of China, the men and women of a ragtag volunteer air force lifted the spirits of a nation at war. They were called the American Volunteer Group, but the world knew them as the Flying Tigers. Though their history was brief, lasting only one year, the Flying Tigers established a brilliant combat record second to none. Extensive home movies, archival footage and personal testimonies present the dramatic story of the Flying Tigers, whose exploits both on the ground and in the air have become legend.
