Two-time world paragliding champion Louise Crandal seeks to fulfill her sport's dream by convincing a Russian steppe eagle named Cossack to be her new training partner. The film follows the intense and unpredictable training process from the day Louise finds the untrained bird to the day, months later, when the two soar together above Lake Como in Italy.
