Heart Mountain: Three Years in a Relocation Center

Documents the World War II incarceration in Wyoming of more than 10,000 Pacific Coast Japanese. Removed from their homes for reasons of military necessity, these American citizens were faced with hastily built barracks surrounded by barbed wire, dust storms in the summer and below-freezing temperatures in the winter, and questions about their loyalty to the United States.
