This KET-produced series introduces elementary school children to the visual arts, music, and dance. It explains the arts as a simple communication process: a way to express oneself and to send and receive messages. Real-life footage, animated characters, and dramatic sequences introduce the elements and principles of the art forms and explain where ideas for artwork come from, how artistic messages are created and sent, and how the elements of individual art forms come together as a total form of expression.
