This 12-part series introduces the concepts of community and social structure to students in grades 2 and 3. The programs provide an overview of how communities function locally, regionally, and globally-how people organize, govern themselves, and make decisions for the community as a whole-while introducing the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to understand and analyze social and economic relationships.
