This multimedia series on the science and history of the invention of powered flight enables teachers to use that event to showcase inquiry-based science. In six short programs designed for grades 5-12, the series reviews the history and the aeronautics principles behind the Wright Brothers' first flight as well as the tremendous impact of their inventions.
