Traces the route of the slave ship Henrietta Marie, which sank off the Florida coast in 1700, and the voyage an exhibit of its excavated artifacts made during a four-year tour (which included a 2008 stop at Louisville's Frazier International History Museum). The documentary explores the conditions endured by slaves as well as the impact of the exhibit on contemporary North Carolina audiences.
