Stage One, Louisville's professional theater for young people, presents an adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's classic children's book for the stage. In this version, the irrepressible Toad draws his friends into a pursuit of his latest fancy, the new-fangled automobile. With their attention diverted, the malicious Weasels seize Toad Hall, and the others must band together to restore it to its rightful owner. This 1989 KET production also includes a short introductory segment that explores how the stage version is transformed into a television program.
