A biography of anthropologist and writer Loren Eiseley, who has been called the greatest nature essayist since Henry David Thoreau. A rare scientist who spoke with the voice of a poet, Eiseley is best known for The Immense Journey, The Unexpected Universe, and an autobiography entitled All the Strange Hours. Pulitzer Prize-winning writer N. Scott Momaday reads Eiseley's words, and actress Julie Harris narrates.
