In 1954, a young American naval officer on a tour of duty near Tokyo falls in love with a beautiful Japanese woman. Heir to a Milwaukee beer fortune, he becomes trapped between his family's values, which he is trying to escape, and this forbidden relationship. Tensions mount in a collision of East and West, past and present, duty and passion. The play is directed by three-time Tony nominee Daniel Sullivan and features Michael Hayden, Bill Smitrovich, Lisa Emery, and Connor Trinneer.
