A celebration of the traditional American art of storytelling combines tales told by nationally known storytellers from diverse ethnic backgrounds with contemporary filmmaking techniques and an original soundtrack. Featured are Cuban-American storyteller Carmen Deedy, former high school English teacher Syd Lieberman, Native American storyteller Dovie Thomason-Sickles, retired Methodist minister and student of ancient lore Donald Davis, cowboy poet Waddie Mitchell, and teacher and historian Rex Ellis.
