Tour of Belle’s Steam Whistle - Part 1 of 2

Three-Chamber Steam Whistle

The Belle’s steam whistle was installed when the boat was built in 1914. Steam under pressure makes the whistles vibrate creating the sound. The pilot makes the whistle blow by pushing the steam whistle foot pedal.
