FIELD TRIP TO THE BELLE OF LOUISVILLE
Take a cruise on the historic Belle of Louisville. This very special boat is the oldest Mississippi River-style sternwheeler steamboat operating today! Appointed to the National Historic Register, the Belle still uses much of the original equipment installed on her when she was constructed in 1914. • Social studies and science for grades 3-5.
FIELD TRIP TO A WATERSHED
Scenes from urban and rural settings across Kentucky illustrate the water cycle, how surface water flows through interconnected systems, and human impacts on water quality. • Earth science for grades 3-8.
FIELD TRIP TO THE DENTIST

FIELD TRIP TO FORT HARROD AND FORT BOONESBOROUGH
Visits to two reconstructed 18th-century forts explore the settlement of Kentucky: why and how people moved west, the factors that influenced where they settled, and daily life on the frontier. • Social studies for grades 4-8.
