A cookie is a small text file, stored on your computer, that records information to be used while you navigate certain web pages. The cookie used for our Watch pages contains a unique user ID for you along with the customization information you have chosen, which allows the schedule information to be presented to you in the form you prefer. The ID is a specially generated code that is used only within these pages. It will not be connected to personal information about you, such as your e-mail address—even if you have provided such information elsewhere on KET’s site.

If you are having trouble accessing our schedule information or are getting unexpected results, it may be because your web browser is not allowing the cookie to be stored. Here’s how to check your settings:

If you are using Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu, then choose Internet Options. On the top of the screen, you will see a tab called Security. Click that tab and then click the Internet icon. Now click the Custom Level button. Scroll down until you see “Cookies.” Click the Enable buttons under “Allow cookies that are stored on your computer” and under “Allow per-session cookies (not stored).” You should now be able to customize our schedule pages.

If you are using Netscape, check your browser’s cookies settings by going to Edit/Preferences and then clicking on Advanced. Click the radio button next to “Accept all cookies.”

If you are still having problems, try closing your browser and reopening it.
